Oboro was the past partner of Kuroto and was killed by Cadenza in front of Kuroto. It is noted that Kuroto was not as unhappy and bitter as he is now before Oboro's death, showing the great effect the loss of a Zweilt Partner has on the remaining one.

In flashbacks, Oboro is always shown with a long braid going down their back.
Etymology[]
It is uncertain if Oboro is a female or male since the name is unisex, but it is more thought that Oboro was a male. The character ( 朧 ) means misty or hazy and usually is spoken in reference to the moon.
